β€œOffload is a fantastic resource for both clients and therapists. The world of CBT has been lacking an app which enables the sharing of CBT worksheets and homework tasks between clients and therapists, but Offload completely does this, making the service we offer more professional and the benefits to clients greater.”

Frequently asked questions

Why should I write a summary after each therapy session?

Insights from therapy fade fast. Writing down what was discussed, what you took from it and what you agreed to do keeps the session working for you all week. It also makes patterns visible over time, so you can look back and see how your thinking and your goals have changed.

When is the best time to complete it?

As soon after the session as you can, ideally the same day, while the conversation is fresh. It only takes a few minutes. Many people fill it in on the journey home or that evening, then re-read it before the next appointment.

What if I cannot remember much of the session?

That is common, especially after an emotional session. Start with how you felt and one thing that stood out, however small. Over time the habit of summarising makes you more attentive during sessions, and your therapist can help fill gaps if you bring the summary along.

Can my therapist see my session summaries?

If your therapist has assigned this journal on Offload, they can review your summaries before the next session, which shows them what landed and keeps homework on track. If you use Offload on your own, your entries stay private to your account. Fully HIPAA and GDPR compliant.
