“Offload is a fantastic resource for both clients and therapists. The world of CBT has been lacking an app which enables the sharing of CBT worksheets and homework tasks between clients and therapists, but Offload completely does this, making the service we offer more professional and the benefits to clients greater.”

Frequently asked questions

Why is multitasking a problem?

It feels productive but usually slows you down and increases mistakes, because the brain switches between tasks rather than doing them at once, and every switch costs attention. Single-tasking, giving one task your full attention even for a short block, gets more done with less exhaustion.

How can I concentrate better?

Make tasks clear and time-limited, decide what done looks like before you start, and work in shorter sessions with defined goals rather than long open-ended ones. Reduce external distractions such as notifications and notice internal ones such as worry. Small improvements to your environment matter more than a perfect one.

What is flow and how do I find it?

Flow is the state of being fully absorbed in a task so that time passes unnoticed. It happens most when a task matches your skill level, feels meaningful and has clear goals. You cannot force it, but you can set up the conditions, which is what the course helps you do.

Can my therapist assign this course?

Yes. Therapists on Offload can assign Getting Tasks Done for clients with ADHD, attention or focus difficulties, alongside the How to Plan Tasks course, and your chosen change gives a behavioural experiment to review. Your responses are available for them to review before the next session. Fully HIPAA and GDPR compliant.
